The Lexus LFA is over a decade old, but since its debut in 2009, no car has been able to match it for pure aural satisfaction. Here's a reminder of why.

The Gumbal YouTube channel was on the scene at a recent gathering in Belgium to film this LFA, painted in a rare shade of Pearl yellow, as it prowled the area, revving its engine and even doing a few acceleration runs. In case you're not familiar, the LFA is powered by a 4.8-liter naturally aspired V-10 engine paired to an exhaust tuned by Yamaha, hence the perfect engine note.

As the LFA transitions from desirable analog supercar to full-blown collector's item, we're glad to see at least one that's still being driven. While Toyota struggled to sell all 500 LFAs in-period, used examples with low mileage are now demanding prices near the seven-figure range, despite the car's widely unloved single-clutch paddle-shift automatic gearbox. That just shows you how much sound matters to some people.
