Pagani never sold its first production car, the Zonda, here in the United States. Normally, that'd mean Zondas wouldn't be eligible to import and register in the U.S. until they reach 25 years of age. This one's received an exemption, and now you can own it.

The Pagani Zonda was recently added to the official Show or Display exemption list, a collection of vehicles determined by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to be historically or culturally significant enough to bypass our crash and emissions laws, allowing them to be registered for U.S. roads (albeit with a mileage cap of just 2500 miles).

According to Miller Motorcars, the Greenwich, Connecticut dealership handling the car's sale, this 2007 Zonda F is the very first U.S.-legal Zonda to come to market. It's the 14th of 25 Zonda Fs built, and one of just 140 Zondas built over a massive 20-year production run.

The Zonda F makes 591 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque from a naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V-12 sourced from AMG. The only choice of transmission when new was a six-speed manual. The example shown here has been driven 11,887 kilometers (7386 miles), and looks to be in near perfect condition.

Getting a Zonda serviced in America shouldn't be too difficult, as there are no fewer than five Pagani dealerships in the United States. Buying this one might be a bit of a challenge, though, unless you have seven figures to blow on a car that can only be driven a handful of miles each year. Miller Motorcars doesn't list an exact price, but it's safe to assume this Zonda is worth more than most Huayras on this side of the pond.
